A fabulous week of jewellery making covering a wide variety of projects from stringing to wire work & chain mail, lots of earrings to beading a wonderful sparkly bracelet in Swarovski crystals. We will cover all the basics plus much much more and you'll go home relaxed with lots of beautiful jewellery.

Tiara Making & Wedding Jewellery

You will learn to design and make 1-2 stunning tiaras and a beautiful, sparkly hair vine as well as earrings, bracelets and necklaces and maybe presents for your bridesmaids too !

NEW - Introduction to Silversmithing

We will take you through all the basic techniques Including sawing, hammering, forming, soldering, cleaning and polishing and you will design and make a number of pieces including rings and a pendant

Introduction to Chainmail
2 Days / 3 Nights - £259 per person
3 Days / 4 Nights - £299 per person (includes 1 day sightseeing with transport)

We will make lots of earrings (giving you chance to learn a number of weaves in a short time) and at least one bracelet - the weaves covered will include European 4 in 1 weave and the timelessly beautiful Byzantine Chain. You will also learn wire wrapping and how to make your own findings.

Wireworking Workshop
2 Days / 3 Nights - £259 per person
3 Days / 4 Nights - £299 per person (includes 1 day sightseeing with transport)

This workshop will teach you all the basics from making wrapped or simple loops, through to forming shapes, making simple chains and clasps, making earwires & earrings, opening & closing jump rings, making light fine silver head pins with a torch, hammering to harden, making a wonderful bracelet and lots more. NEW - Charm Bracelet - Silversmithing and Precious Metal Clay (PMC)
2 Days / 3 Nights - £269 per person
3 Days / 4 Nights - £309 per person (includes 1 day sightseeing with transport)

You will make your charm bracelet from scratch using sterling silver wire and silversmithing techniques and design and made charms using PMC along with learning how to create dangles for your bracelet using semi-precious stones - You'll go home with lots of new techniques (including torch and kiln firing PMC) and a gorgeous unique charm bracelet (we'll make sure we have some time for earrings too !) The Ultimate in attention - We design the workshop around you, what you want to learn and make (we discuss prelimary ideas with you before you arrive to make sure you get the most our of your time). We arrange the sightseeing to suit you whether you want to spend all your time jewellery making, spend some time relaxing by the lake, exploring the Aubrac or visiting local sights. You get the whole cottage to yourself as we don't take any other bookings whilst you are with us. Spoil yourself - you know you deserve to get away from it all and have some "me time". Ladies Weekend Away - Jewellery Making and a visit to a spa !
By Arrangement

Get together with a friend or two and take over the cottage for the weekend. You'll be picked up from the airport, given a guided tour of some of our beautiful scenery before arriving at the cottage for drinks and nibbles then a choice of buffet dinner or being taken to a local restaurant. The next day you'll have a relaxing day of jewellery making with a break for lunch, be taken to a local restaurant for dinner and the spend the next day at a really lovely small spa in the middle of the Lozere countryside. Please contact me for costs as this will depend upon the number of people and options taken.

Rosary Workshop
3 Days / 4 Nights - £299 per person

A two day workshop exploring various methods of making rosaries including rosary bracelets - Dates will be by arrangement so please email me if you are interested in this workshop. There will be 2 full workshop days plus a day of sightseeing. Dichroic Glass Fusing & Jewellery

Jewellery Making & Fishing

If you have a fishing mad partner and find it difficult to find a holiday that suits you both this may be the answer, he can spend his day fishing and you have a relaxing break making jewellery (please email for costs). There are 20 varieties of fish in the lot including Carp, Catfish & Trout. We are near the lake at Castelnau-Lassouts which is very popular with carp fishermen and the Lot river for river fishing. We have contact with 2 local fishing guides who can be hired by the day or half day to ensure a successful days fishing as they are more than happy to take fishermen around and show them their secret fishing grounds.
