Jewellery Making Workshops in SW France 2008 - 2009

We are offering a variety of fun & friendly jewellery making workshop holidays in South Western France. At the moment we can be very flexible about dates so if you see a workshop you like but the dates don't suit you let us know as we maybe able to move the workshop. Some workshops are held here in the beautiful and peaceful Aveyron and others in Toulouse.

	Christmas & New Year Jewellery Making Holiday - £400 per person A week of jewellery making covering 9 projects from wire work & chain mail to beading a wonderful sparkly bracelet and snowflake earrings. Includes a visit to the Christmas Market at Toulouse & time for shopping and Christmas Day / New Years Day in the Snow. Additional Dates now available in February & April 2009
	Introduction to Chainmail - 2 Days / 3 Nights - £175 per person We will cover a variety of projects and you will learn European 4 in 1 weave and the timelessly beautiful Byzantine Chain.
	Tiara Making & Wedding Jewellery - 2 Days / 3 Nights - £175 You will learn to make 2 tiaras as well as a matching set of earrings, bracelet and necklace
	Shopping & Beading - Bespoke break designed to suit you - 2 Days or More - £100* per person per day (minimum booking 2 people) Design your own break, you choose the projects you want to cover, the length of your stay and when you would like to come. You decide what you would like to do whether it's shopping in Toulouse or visiting the galleries or the new spa and we take you where you would like to go. *Excluding July & August
	Introduction to Jewellery Making - 2 Days / 3 Nights - £175 per person All the basics & more - from choosing and using tools to learning how to make your own findings & ear wires, making lots of earrings, using crimps, illusion necklaces ........
	Introduction to Bead Weaving - 2 Days / 3 Nights - £175 per person We will be making earrings using Brick & Peyote stitch and a wonderful bracelet or earrings in Spiral Rope stitch with lots of sparkling Swarovskis.
	Dichroic Glass Fusing & Jewellery - 2 Days / 3 Nights - £175 per person 2 half days of fusing this fantastic glass interspersed with 2 half days of making your glass into jewellery. Workshop available from June 2009.
	Jewellery Making & Fishing If you have a fishing mad partner and find it difficult to find a holiday that suits you both this may be the answer, he can spend his day fishing and you have a relaxing break making jewellery. There are 20 varieties of fish in the lot including Trout & Carp. One record-beating carp caught in the Lot weighed in at 138kg and measured 123 cm. We are near the lake at Castelnau-Lassouts which is very popular with carp fishermen and we have contact with 2 local fishing guides who can be hired by the day or half day to ensure a sucessful days fishing as they are more than happy to take fishermen around and show them their secret fishing grounds. All of the above workshops that take place in the Aveyron can be combined with fishing, just add £50 for your partner (to cover transfers etc) and the optional cost of a local guide (approx 100 euros per day).
