Fused glass picture in oak stand.

I lived for 17 years near the Aubrac, my love for the scenery brought me back time and time again.
 
This started as a photo I took of burons on the Aubrac, from this I made a design and screen printed it onto glass (using glass powders that are fused into the base glass), painted additional details and added small pieces for texture.  The picture is a single layer of glass and was fused in my kiln for 12 hours
 
The picture sits in a handmade oak base.
